On the first floor is the lounge / kitchen / diner. It has lovely views of the mountains beyond. There is a tv, ipod docking station, wii and wifi. The kitchen has a dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. There is a bathroom and seperate WC on this level, and the sofa turns into a good sized double bed. The balcony outside is west facing and is a lovely spot to sit in the summer.
On the second floor there are 2 double bedrooms, with valley views and coin montagne with a set of bunk beds. There is also a second bathroom on this level with shower.
On the ground floor of the chalet there is a communal room. It's pretty rustic; this is the place where the cows were kept when it was originally an Alpage, however now it's got a full size ping pong table, table football and other odds and sods. It's all a bit old and rickety but after a few genepi's and gluvein's who cares! There is a washer / drier, iron & ironing board, deck chairs and sledges. This room can be locked so you can secure bikes and ski gear. The apartment has use of 1 parking space in front of the chalet, other spaces can be used at the discretion of the other apartment owners. There are 3 other apartments in the building available to rent; if ours is occupied theirs maybe available, so please get in touch and i will pass on their contact details.
Having squeezed our family into plenty of cramped hotel rooms over the years, we wanted the apartment to feel comfortable; a place where you can stretch out, relax and feel at home. The kitchen is equipped with the important things and there are books, dvd's, games and toys dotted about to keep people occupied.
